THE PARK

The park of the villa is a superb example of Mediterranean landscape.
It is a seaside place but it is also a country place. In almost 60 years these 3 hectares of land, originally barren and with very little vegetation, have become a wonderful Mediterranean garden of olive trees, maritime pines, mastic trees, almond trees, prickly pears, euphorbia, phillyrea, brooms and olive trees from which, in November, we produce our oil.
The flora of the Mediterranean basin is immensely rich and in the evening, after a day of intense heat, walking along the more than 2 kilometers of paths inside the property is an unforgettable olfative experience: cysts, helichrysum, asphodels, asparagus, rosemary, myrtles, euphorbia, lavender, thyme…
The variety of aromatic plants with their production of essential oils creates a bouquet of aromas that is difficult to forget. From myrtle we produce the delicious liqueur typical of the Sardinian tradition, which you will find upon your arrival.
At the highest point of the property, on the northern border and overlooking Cala Monte Turno, the Nuraghe Gibe Truttiri, one of the more than 7,000 still present in Sardinia, an example of the incredible skills of the men and women of the Nuragic civilization that – around the middle of the second millennium BC, built throughout Sardinia imposing megalithic towers of truncated conical shape, center of social life of the ancient Sardinians.
The park is crossed by spectacular paths that connect panoramic terraces overlooking the sea and granite cliffs: you can dine on the furnished terrace facing south on the beach of Cala Sinzias, enjoy at all hours the panoramic hot tub facing east, take an aperitif on the sun terrace facing north on the beach of Cala Monte Turno or rest in the large hammocks overlooking the sea in the shade of olive trees right on top of the hill.
You can, if you want, isolate yourself.
Around the house, 600 square meters of lawn, three rows of table grapes, a tree of white figs and almond trees, grown among huge and rounded granite boulders, material of collapse of the nuraghe that characterize the northern part of the property.
For those who want to collect them, lots of prickly pears …
Once completely isolated, now the property is part of an area rich in services and tourist facilities, but the large park surrounding the villa guarantees the sense of tranquility and isolation that has always distinguished this beautiful place, where you can enjoy the true ‘sense of vacation’;.
